Why I’m running...Vision. Strategy. Change!

Conversative Values…

  • Grew up on the foundations of God, family, and country - this includes retired military service and current membership of the American Legion Post 180 (Vienna, VA).

  • Will protect Constitutional rights to free speech, gun ownership, and the preservation of the electoral college. The college provides purpose for the Presidential Elector position, which ensures YOUR voice as a vote to preserve this freedom.

  • Life is a miracle and firmly against abortion used as birth control!

  • Parents have rights and deserve a choice for education.

  • Less government is better governance. The separation of powers between executive, legislative, and judicial were established to allow a true representative Republic of “We the people” - this understanding began with my first U.S Senate floor rights granted in 1997, later to work on the Strom Thurmond defense bill!

  • Competiton, capitalism, balanced conservation practices like the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and a strong national security win and grow tax friendly economies and safe communities!

  • One Day. One vote! — with exception to legal absentee ballots required for those who are physically disadvantaged, living or serving overseas!

Virginia Republican Creed

The return to America.

It was only in 2021, while establishing cyber capabilities for the U.S. European Command, I was on a conference call from England with Fairfax County Republican Committee (FCRC) leadership. This call was to interview and discuss my interest in running for Fairfax County School Board in the ‘23 election cycle.

As my family made the return to Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), I witnessed changes that had plagued Fairfax under the cloak of the COVID pandemic - closed schools, facemasks, and left-Wing political agendas, including implementation of radical policy for K-12 pronouns and misgendering.

I was determined to share my long-time campaign experience like past House of Delegate level candidacy and conservative network with the FCRC. This prompted me to immediately become a Precinct Captain for the Providence District in 2022 and join the Northern Virginia Republican Business Forum.

Alongside FCRC volunteerism, I was introduced and joined multiple parental movements to oppose the Soros-backed ONE FAIRFAX agenda. The advocacy began with the publishing of an “awareness” article in the Fairfax County Times: Gender politics. Fairfax County taxpayer waste. Why not just educate? | Opinions | fairfaxtimes.com and further testimony in Richmond, to support Governor Youngkin’s ‘22 Model Policy for Parent Rights in December 2022.

States take action!

Not just in Fairfax, the divide in America has gone on long enough, which aims to influence the next generation — children in our schools, including my three young boys in the FCPS!

Like the Values Act signed by Governor Northam on Easter weekend in 2020, the expansion of progressive politics in northern Virginia continues with the most recent proclamation to recognize Transgender Visibility Day on March 31, 2024. Further, the FCPS Board Chair (Karl Frisch) disrespected parents by taking the oath on books that could warrant a breach in Federal obscenity laws. One book titled, “Gender Queer.”

Are we going to let ONE FAIRFAX raise taxes and take control of our kids, jobs, and the safety of our communities? I witnessed the problems that resulted from the Tavistock clinic in London. I say, “NO,” and will sacrifice to continue to call order to a political front line that aims to win this cultural values crusade. This began with a phone call to the Inova Pride Clinic in 2023 that was ready to admit a child for “gender affirming” care as young as age 10.

Since the interview below, today, 20 states have laws protecting children from the dangers of transgender procedures and medicine (like use of cancer drugs) or what are referred as HELP NOT HARM laws! Quoted from the Family Policy Alliance, “Kids are not clinical tests. When a child is struggling, he or she needs compassionate care – not experimental hormones and surgery.”

Looking ahead to 2024…

The Fairfax GOP needs change! The change is proven by the number of ‘24 delegates, which appears to have filled less than 15% of over 6,000 possible seats. This turnout compared to an estimated 250,000 Republicans who live and work in Fairfax!

Identity Politics and messaging are not conservative principles! Vision and strategy require leadership that will unify, which includes internal factions who might seek political vengeance against each other.

Your vote for Presidential Elector will allow me to share vision and build on strategy to re-organize the Fairfax GOP through the 11th Congressional District. This planning can leverage resource and infrastructure from the VFLC-PAC, which is greater than many areas of the existing FCRC.

Your vote will also expand my role in the Fairfax GOP like interest and perhaps your support of future candidacy for the Virginia General Assembly (as early as 2025).

Changes proposed for the FCRC include:

  • Development of an FCRC Strategy (2025-2028) that includes re-structuring of platform and new blood to the Executive Committee, such as representation for the America First Caucus and creation of Hispanic Outreach Director!

  • Volunteer and New Member Growth - build a sense of urgency, excitement, and drive with the goal to improve voter confidence and turnout at the polls!

  • “Hands-on” Candidate Recruitment, Vetting, and Training - can share many practices with over 20 years of political campaign experience including Alum training from The Leadership Institute

  • Fundraising (form a coalition for resources inside and outside of Virginia)

  • Voter Contact / Data Tools

  • Elect an FCRC Chair who can represent conservative values, lead on issues and community engagement - including reach to other NOVA and State GOP Chairs and better integrated with the City of Fairfax!

Specific to the Presidential Elector, the Founding Fathers established the Electoral College in the U.S. Constitution as a compromise between the election of the President by a vote in Congress and by a popular vote of qualified citizens. This process consists of the selection of the electors to represent the Republican Party of Virginia.

  • Since Clinton-Kaine lost in 2016, the Democrats have called to abolish the Electoral College, which would remove the vote of hundreds of thousands.

  • This past December, at the Cipriani in New York, I heard Donald J. Trump say, “he was going to take back NY, NJ, and Virginia!”

  • As Presidential Elector and historian, I will ensure the tradition and practice of the Electoral College is preserved – carrying the 11th Congressional District voice to Richmond to place a vote when a new Republican Administration is elected in 2024!
