Welcome to the Road House

Welcome to the Road House… Last week, to celebrate the launch of Amazon Prime Video’s latest title Road House,  Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor McGregor and other cast members were welcomed to King’s Cross venue Lafayette, with multiple rooms built and dressed to transform the location to the film's Florida Keys setting. The morning saw a success of filmed junket pieces including This Morning, and an international press conference hosted by Edith Bowman.
The afternoon brought the action with press and influencers experiencing a bar brawl masterclass, before filming cinema-style fight scenes in a recreation of the film’s titular bar. The result was an epic set of content pieces featuring live music, smashed sugar glass and the odd weaponised pool cue (breakable, of course.)

The in-app experience is available worldwide from 20 March and will be promoted across Waze and Google’s social media platforms as well as through a global PR campaign.
