Invitation to join a u3a Team for the Online Quiz League
|
|
Invitation to take part in Online Quiz League (OQL) season 13, starting Wednesday 8 May 2024. OQL is the world’s largest weekly quiz league, with matches taking place via Zoom on Wednesday evenings over 11 weeks.
We are looking for new players to make up a u3a team. General knowledge questions (UK focussed) include geography, history, science, literature, music, film and TV, religion, classics and popular culture.
The cost is £55 per team for debut season. For more information contact learning@u3a.org.uk and we will put you in touch with Angela.

Could you become a learning volunteer for the Third Age Trust?
Learning volunteers play a key role in facilitating the fantastic offering of Zoom events that are put on for u3a members. The role can be flexible to suit your timings/availability and no prior experience is required. The role mostly involves facilitating Zoom events and liaising with speakers - learning something new in each event hosted!
