Passover Meal - Thursday 28 March @6.30 pm
Passover is a celebration of God’s delivering His people out of the slavery of Pharaoh. The word “Passover” comes from the night of the worst plague God sent to Egypt because Pharaoh, the Egyptian ruler, would not let the people go free (Exodus chapters 7-12). On that night, God promised that He would visit every house to bring the final plague. However, for God’s people who had sprinkled the blood of a lamb on their doorposts and lintels He would Passover them, not afflicting them with the plague. This final plague convinced Pharaoh to let God’s people go and so from then on God’s people have celebrated Passover.

One of the last earthly acts of Jesus was the celebration of the Passover with His disciples in a small room in Jerusalem where He led the meal, bringing new meaning and insight into the symbols of the food used for the meal (Luke 22:15).

Come join us as we remember that Jesus, the Messiah, was tried for crimes he didn’t commit, that he was beaten and ridiculed and charged with false accusations and never spoke a word in his own defense because He knew that His destiny was in God’s hands - His destiny to be crucified on the cross, and there, to die for all mankind making it possible for the relationship between man and God, tarnished by sin, to be restored.

To help us with numbers for catering we need you to register. There are several ways to register:

eCamp and Easter Camp
Last week I put the call out to pray for me and the team running eCamp. This week I would like to bring it closer to home for us. We have about 20 people going to Easter Camp and 16 going to eCamp. Can we please pray for these people. Pray for Josh T and Carol as they lead the groups, pray for the Youth and FBI leaders, and pray for the young people going that they may have life changing moments with Jesus.
