The ramp to the P4 parking deck lower level entrance is closed until early May to repair the damaged deck and install a new concrete panel.
With the exception of a fenced construction area on the Upper Level, parking on both the levels will be available. Overflow parking is available in lots P11 and Alumni House. All UTM permits are valid in both locations.
The ramp closure may result in traffic delays on Outer Circle from The Collegeway to the P8 parking deck. Use the north or middle entrances to enter campus during the morning commute. P6 parking lot permanently closed
Parking lot P6 is now permanently closed, along with the pedestrian pathway serving Schreiberwood Townhouse Complex G. The pedestrian pathway between Erindale Studio Theatre and Residence Road will also be temporarily closed to allow for construction. There will be no direct pedestrian access between Erindale Studio Theatre and Residence Road. Residence Road will remain open. Experience the eclipse on campus
On April 8 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., join the UTM department of chemical and physical sciences and UTM alumni relations on the field outside of the Davis Building to witness a near total solar eclipse. Assistant professor Marta Bryan and students of astronomy and biology will describe the importance of the eclipse and its effects. Viewing glasses will be provided while supplies last. UTM is hosting the Peel Regional Science Fair again this year on April 12, and looking for volunteer judges with a STEM background. Graduate students, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, technicians and senior undergrads can sign up at uoft.me/Judges2024. The Desmond Morton Research Excellence Award recognizes outstanding career achievement in research and scholarly activity by faculty members of UTM. The award recipient will receive $5,000 towards research activity/professional development. Learn more
The UTM Annual Research Prize recognizes outstanding early career faculty members at UTM: one each from the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences. The award recipient will receive $2,000 for research activity/professional development. Learn more
