Breaking Down Hypertension: Understanding The Silent Killer (Emory Medical Students)

Don't forget to join in on our First Year, Emory Medical Student presentations.  These students are working with our program for their Community Engagement course.  This course helps with giving students the knowledge and skills necessary to engage and work with communities by providing information, training, mentoring and other resources. It also helps deepening students' knowledge and understanding of community and civic engagement, social justice, health equity and advocacy.  Your attendance helps them and helps you!. Join us as we discuss:  Breaking Down Hypertension: Understanding the Silent Killer. Hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure, silently affects millions worldwide, posing a significant health risk. In this presentation, we discuss the complexities of hypertension to equip our audience with a comprehensive understanding of its mechanisms, implications, and management. We aim to empower participants to recognize, assess, and effectively manage hypertension.
