Election Updates

Elections have been extended to April 12!

We apologize for the link error and you should have received a postcard with the correct link and your code. If you still haven’t received your ballot or postcard, please contact us immediately at info@greenbenefit.org.

Results will be announced at this month's board meeting.

Esprit Updates

We had the pleasure of hosting Melinda Sullivan as she presented new updates on Esprit Park at our last board meeting (view the presentation here). Here are some updates on construction:

  • Site subdrainage system installation nearing completion
  • Sewer vent pipe work completed, which is a milestone, in that we coordinated with PUC to get this work done to avoid a separate contractor coming in after the renovation is completed, which would have disrupted the park
  • Grading for site pathways has begun
  • Installation of 5 adult exercise areas (subbase) has begun

RPD are currently reviewing the latest overall schedule provided by the contractor and pushing to work to hone in on a more specific window for substantial completion and park re-opening. They share their gratitude for your patience with and support of this curb-to-curb renovation.

Rec and Park  posts monthly  construction updates to their project page (bit.ly/espritparkproject). You can sign up for automatic email notifications on the “Project Updates” section.  Please feel free to reach out to project manager, Melinda Sullivan, with any additional questions, concerns, or suggestions.

The Open House will include hands-on activities such as building a planter box and experiencing bucket truck rides and offers a valuable opportunity for students to explore various trades, careers, and gain general information about SF Public Works.
