Dog Safety
 
Please be advised that the Village of San Leanna prohibits dogs being unleashed on walks or at large within the Village limits at any time.

This restriction is in place for the safety of your dog as well as the safety of your neighbors and their animals. SECTION 23. B. of Zoning Ordinance No. 13 -001 specifically prohibits residents from walking their dogs off leash or allowing their dogs to enter any unfenced area of the Village of San Leanna off leash - this includes front yards, unfenced back yards, and parks.  

In addition to the risk that loose dogs pose to others, loose dogs are also at risk of being lost, stolen, hit by vehicles, or injured in encounters with other dogs or wildlife such as coyotes and snakes.
 

Please be considerate of your neighbors and contain your dogs. 
TREE CARE & TRIMMING PERMITS

Tree Permits are mandatory.
 
Be sure to call the Village to obtain a permit before you have your trees trimmed.

Trimming Oak Trees in the Village of San Leanna is prohibited by ordinance during the months of February through June to prevent the spread of Oak Wilt.
