We’re just two weeks away from the launch of our 2024 Grants Challenge!
This year, we aren’t just asking you to vote for the issues that matter most to you. For the first time, we’re also highlighting opportunities to volunteer and make a tangible impact on those same issues.
LA2050 is partnering with 24 organizations to host a range of volunteer activations across the LA region, from April 2nd to May 8th. You can clean up a local beach, help a former foster youth move into their first home, assemble lunches for those in need, beautify an elementary school garden, and much, much more!
If you've been looking for more opportunities to give back, we've got you!

HILLARY COHEN | CEO and Co-Founder, Every Day Action
My favorite Los Angeles places and spaces...
PLAY: If you are looking for an amazing workout that is also fun and inspiring, Melissa Feuchtinger at Motivate Cycle Club’s Porter Ranch location leads one of the most fun cycle rides I have ever participated in.
CREATE: The Ledge Theater in Los Feliz recently hosted a fundraiser for Every Day Action. It was hosted by the amazing improv team, Power Sauce, and featured some amazing local comedians.
CONNECT: Bra Network is a Los Angeles based community that connects women entrepreneurs by providing a space for women to support women while also providing networking events, resources, and tools to make females more effective as leaders and within their businesses.
LEARN: The Griffith Observatory is one of my favorite places in LA to explore both inside and out. The hikes up and around have some of the most stunning views in LA and the Samuel Oschin Planetarium show is always inspiring.
LIVE: About My Father's Business Homeless Outreach is a fellow Los Angeles nonprofit helping the unhoused by distributing emergency supplies weekly. Their founder, Kathy Huck, works 24/7 helping others and is constantly looking for ways to help the LA community.
