Join us for a Tri-County Offering! ISLA Train the Trainer

Suggested Audience: Any leader engaged in this work within school systems, with the aim of taking knowledge back to their setting/context/LEA/school.

Join us for Inclusive Skill Building Approach (ISLA) Trainer of Trainers (ToT) with our Tri-County neighbors! The two-day, in-person training of trainers includes training on ISLA components and data decision making for improved supports.

57th Annual Santa Cruz County Math Contest

Suggested Audience: Educators/families focusing on math, grades 5-8

Saturday, May 4 8:45-11:00, Aptos High School

Upwards of 200 students in grades 5-8 from across the county spend a Saturday morning in May doing math! Students participate in both a team competition, and individual competition.

We celebrate our winners the evening of Tuesday, May 15 at the COE.

Lead Teachers can now register students from your school!!

Celebrating Reimaginings - April 27

Suggested Audience: HS Students, Teachers and Administrators

Join the UCSC History & Civics Project at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History to celebrate and learn more about teachers, scholars, and community members’ work on engaging students in interrogating and reimagining artistic, literary, and historical representations.
