Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I was in Austin, Texas this past week to see family. In addition to witnessing the amazing solar eclipse, I also had a chance to tour the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library. The following quote (shown below above his bust), stuck with me: "There are no problems which we cannot solve together, and there are very few which any of us can settle by himself." This is so true both nationally and locally.

Tuesday night's (April 16th) City Council meeting includes appointments to city commissions, a study session on city-hosted community events and observations, and an item about making our streets safer by reducing speed limits. As always, feel free to share your thoughts on these and all agenda items.

Have a great week, and enjoy the flowers that are blooming all over our beautiful city (see some of those from my neighborhood below).

Warmly,
Jen
