General Conference is coming up in just a few days in Charlotte, NC, and the UM Creation Justice Movement is preparing to have a powerful presence at this global gathering of United Methodists. At the April 17 Movement Café, hear from Creation Justice Movement leaders about all that is being planned. You'll learn more about the April 22 Earth Day Vigil, resources for joining remotely, and for hosting an Earth Day event in your church and get a preview from the Earth Day preacher, Professor Musa Dube.
You'll learn how to support your conference delegates and ways that we'll be promoting Creation Justice related resolutions through committees and plenary processes. Also planned: a creation justice themed walking devotional, Global Ministries Solar Trailer, Greenfaith Action in support of divestment and more.
