Serve and care like Jesus
There are hundreds of references throughout the New Testament in which Jesus served and cared for people. He didn’t do it for recognition. He didn’t do it for fame. He didn’t do it because He was forced. He served because He was Jesus, and He loved people. Matthew 20:28 says, “²⁸ just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” 
So, I ask you, how much do you love people? We have a new ministry team here at the church called Service and Care. This is a ministry that we launched last fall. Right now, we have 20 dedicated volunteers on our roster, and we want more.
