Meet Aaron Dasher
Aaron Dasher is the AMA worker in Dillingham/Togiak working with Pastor Todd Parker. In today's society it may not make financial sense for a young man fresh out of college with student debt to want to work as an AMA missionary in the Alaskan bush. However, for a Christian man brought up in the Adventist church hearing of great people of God in the Bible as well as more recent missionaries it may not seem so crazy. He shares, "When I was a teenager I went on mission trips In Alaska with my youth group. Since then, I have always felt that God has been calling me to serve as a missionary. In Acts 1:8 Jesus, right before he ascended into heaven, told his disciples to spread what they had seen and heard to the ends of the earth. I am a disciple of Jesus, so Jesus has called me to spread the gospel. Jesus has sent me back to Alaska, after going to school in Walla Walla for Religion, and Auto Technology to serve in Dillingham. This is a conclusion that he has shown me through faith. Like Abram, I will step out in faith and go where Jesus leads. For now, this place is Dillingham." Welcome Aaron!
