Vincent Paris
What's Not to Like?
A Stable of Classic Wines from $29 to $65
As more and more estates in the Northern Rhone get nominated for mythical status, akin to the stars of Burgundy, with prices to match, it is really refreshing to see there is still an anchor out, set by a handful of really good producers, whose wines remain steadfastly set at distinctly affordable prices. Vincent Paris is one of those estates, and one of the few in Cornas who is not only making exceptionally good wine but keeping it at exceptionally good prices.

These come highly recommended to anyone who loves good, well-balanced and perfumed Syrah. You can buy confidently across the range and not feel like you have to keep the wines for another generation. They drink well young, with crunchy Syrah fruit, but will add dimension with 10 years in bottle.

We like Vincent Paris' prices, but we like ours particularly. These wines are currently 10-20% cheaper than any other listing on Wine-Searcher.
Cornas La Geynale 2022
$65 per bottle
(94-96) points Vinous: "The promising 2022 Cornas La Geynale was made with 100% whole-clusters during fermentation. A complex nose explodes with pungent raspberry jam, blackberry compote, roasted herbs, iodine, tobacco leaves, spice-box, candle wax and a splash of menthol. There’s even a little gamey edge. This concentrated elixir hits the palate with mind-boggling energy and frames a massive tannic structure. I can’t wait to taste the final result."

Cornas Granit 60 2022
$49 per bottle
(93-95) points Vinous: "The broad-shouldered 2022 Cornas Granit 60 offers pronounced intensity of spice-box, cured meat, blackberry jam, cedarwood and wet tea bag alongside crushed violets and iodine subtleties. Full-bodied, concentrated and framed by a massive tannic core, the 2022 concludes with persistence on the expansive finish. Very promising."

Cornas Granit 30 2022
$39 per bottle
(91-93) points Vinous: "The 2022 Cornas Granit 30 was made from fully destemmed grapes. It exhales prominent black fruit aromatics paired with pencil shavings, iodine and an underlying rusticity. Medium- to full-bodied, structured and concentrated, there’s plenty of old-world savoriness in this classic 2022 Cornas."

St. Joseph 2022
$29 per bottle
