LA2050 Grants Challenge voting opens today!
We’re giving away $1 million to improve Los Angeles, but first, we need to know what issues YOU care about most.
Our 2024 poll is live now at LA2050.org/vote, open to all ages and available in 12 languages. It takes less than five minutes to complete.
Who can decide what issues are funded? YOU can!

How does the LA2050 Grants Challenge work?
First, Angelenos will vote for the issues that matter most to them, online from April 2nd to May 8th. Then, on May 15th, we'll open grant applications to organizations with ideas to address the top-voted issues. Last, we'll evaluate proposals and award more than $2 million in grants – $1 million as voted by Angelenos, and the additional amount from funding partners. Each winning organization will receive up to $75,000.
Fun fact: This is our 11th Grants Challenge! 🌟

24 VOLUNTEER ACTIVATIONS FOR 2024
|
|
|
That's not all! We're also partnering with 24 organizations to host a range of volunteer activations across the LA region during our Grants Challenge voting period.
You can clean up a local beach, help a former foster youth move into their first home, assemble lunches for those in need, beautify an elementary school garden, and much, much more!
If you've been looking for more opportunities to give back, we've got you.
