Susan Nicholas Gephart is an award winning pastel and oil painter who has been creating colorful, impressionistic landscapes both studio and "plein air" for over forty five years. She is a product demonstrator for multiple national fine art companies and works and teaches in all mediums. Susan believes in nurturing the "Artistic Spirit" of the individual artist. From the beginner to the professional artist, her goal is to inspire your creative spirit in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Teaching Schedule
Skilled in all mediums, Susan is a seasoned plein air and studio painter that will connect where you are in your art, and prepare you for painting en Plein Air. Artists will meet on location for a relaxed and fun “Kick Start” demonstration with Susan. You will discover how to see beyond the obvious within the landscape, and explore the use of color to capture the essence of mood and atmosphere in sky, water, and more. Susan will guide you in creating a unique and personally expressive painting. There will be support and attention given at each artist’s easel in the field.
For all mediums and levels. Rhoneymeade is an exceptional location with extensive subject matter, ranging from unique trees, gardens, historic structures, fields, and mountain vistas with Central PA skies.
