‘Mother’s Day Spring Tea’ planned at Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site 

BISMARCK, ND - Celebrate spring with the wonderful women in your life during “Mother’s Day Spring Tea” Sunday, May 12, 2-3 p.m. at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site, Bismarck. The menu will feature tea, scones, cheese and crackers, sweet breads, and cookies. Mandan musician Mz Mondegreen will entertain with a variety of songs and discuss her musical inspirations.  

Tickets are $20 per person, and advance registration is required at MothersDaySpringTea.eventbrite.com. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Sunday best. 

The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at 320 E. Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The Former Governors’ Mansion is open 1-5 p.m. the second combined Friday and Saturday of each month or by appointment. Summer hours begin Wednesday, May 15, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 12-4 p.m. To make an appointment outside of regular hours, phone 701.328.9528 or email shsfgm@nd.gov.
