Dear <<First Name>>,
The Vassar College Lifelong Learning Institute cordially invites you to attend a special event: a screening of the documentary I Like It Here, by Ralph Arlyck. Ralph is an icon of American documentary filmmaking, whose previous work has received many awards and been shown at prestigious international film festivals, including Sundance, Cannes, and New York.
I Like It Here will be shown at the Vassar College Blodgett Auditorium on Friday, April 19, at 5 p.m. It's a wonderful documentary, relevant to us all, about the challenges experienced with aging and the questions we all face ahead. The film has been screened at Upstate Films and festivals worldwide. Ralph lives in the Hudson Valley, and the film was shot up here—some of it in Poughkeepsie. He and his wife Elisabeth—she taught at Vassar for many years—will be at the screening for a Q & A.
Vassar runs shuttle buses through the campus all day long. Those buses will be available to transport people from the north and south parking lots to Blodgett and back to the parking lots after the film is over. There is no admission fee, but folks will need to register by clicking on the link below.

In addition, we have attached a map of the Vassar College campus, on which Blodgett Auditorium and the north and south parking lots are highlighted in orange and green.
