Silver     Porcelain     Glassware     Decorative     Gifts
Greetings from Wyler Antiques!

Recently a client of ours was in a bind as she needed gifts for both an engagement party and a wedding that were for the same couple. We talked about different articles and she liked the idea of gifts complimenting one another. Thinking about this, we liked this idea also and thought the couple would as well. If complimenting gifts appeal to you, please find listed below a variety of gift ideas that we think work well together. In the meantime, if there is something you would like to send and would like to talk to us about finding an article that compliments your idea, please feel free to get in touch with us.
This attractive Antique Victorian Plate Bread/Cake Knife is the perfect item no matter what you are slicing. Whether it be a cake, torte, or pie, serving it on our elegant Antique Victorian Silver Plate Oval Basket makes for a lovely presentation. These 2 articles work hand in hand together and complement each other very well.
A striking pair of Antique English Papier Mache Napkin Rings. The mother-of-pearl floral design is lovely and would enhance any table. To complement this Pair of Napkin Rings is this exquisite pair of Antique English Drabware Ridgway Candlesticks. With each of them having a lovely floral design, your table will look so elegant as well as pretty
One of our newest acquisitions is this very stylish and classic Antique Victorian Plate 12 Piece Fish Set with mother of pearl handles. To be used with this set is our attractive Antique Victorian Plate 2 Piece Fish Set. Both sets have exceptional workmanship and come with their own cases, making them perfect for gift-giving.
Every teapot needs a teapot stand. Our exquisite George III Antique English Silver Teapot has exceptional detail work that resonates throughout the piece. It is made by the most famous female silversmith in the 18th century, Hester Bateman, and it is in wonderful condition. Our stunning 18th century Famille Rose Teapot Stand with its wonderful design, workmanship, and vibrant colors, is an elegant piece.
A handsome Antique Victorian Silver Plate Claret Jug which is a fine example of the workmanship done in the Victorian era. The intricate design on this piece would look quite divine on any dining room table. To go with our Claret Jug is this very elegant set of 4 English Georgian Hand Blown Glass Double-Lip Wine Rinsers. We hope that you love the contrast with the deep cobalt blue and the clear design which resonates throughout them, as much as we do.
Our Antique 18th century Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Sauce Boat has wonderful vibrant colors resonating throughout the piece. To use with our Armorial Sauce Boat is this elegant Antique Victorian Silver Plate Sauce Ladle. Simple in design is the 'Old English' pattern of this Sauce Ladle and thus, it is the perfect serving piece for this Sauce Boat.
Our Antique Victorian Plate Wine Funnel is quite handsome with its gadroon border. Today, wine funnels are used to pour wine into decanters and serving bottles. This wine funnel is the perfect piece to use with our striking Antique Irish 19th century Decanter with its cut crystal elaborate design.
To finish this week's Announcement is our exquisite Antique English Tole Tray Table and Stand that is decorated with gilt flowers on a black background. Tray Tables and Stands are a wonderful way of integrating the antique (the tray) with the contemporary (the stand). To complement this Tray Table and Stand is our early English 19th century Mahogany Armchair which is an exceptional example of style and workmanship in that period.
Of course, any of these articles would be very appropriate for Mother's Day as it is fast approaching!

We hope that you have found this Announcement interesting, enjoyable, and informative.
