PRHS Welcomes Three new Trustees
The PRHS held it’s annual meeting earlier this month and welcomed its three newest Trustees: John Burnham, Will DeRoberts, and Melissa (née Trail) Farella.
John Burnham: John, his wife Annie, and their four children have lived in Pound Ridge since 2015. John is an investment advisor with Fincadia Capital, a wealth management and tax advisory firm. He enjoys a deep appreciation of Pound Ridge history and a strong desire to give back to the community in a new way. Annie is an accountant with the Town’s Finance Department.
Will DeRoberts: Will moved to Pound Ridge less than two years ago but has fully embraced his new home. He’s an active local volunteer and finished his first “Leatherman’s Loop” last month. Will served as an Army Field Artillery officer for 11 years, including three combat deployments, before moving to the private sector as a software engineer. He has a B.S. and M.S. in Software Engineering and currently works as an Engineering Manager for Square, a leading payments solution for small businesses.
Melissa Farella: If Melissa’s name sounds familiar, it should come as no surprise. Melissa was born and raised in Pound Ridge, has lived here for 30 years, and is a regular contributor to the community. Melissa was recently promoted to Recreation Leader for the Town of Pound Ridge and has coached the Pound Ridge Swim & Dive Team for 12 years. Melissa’s family is steeped in Pound Ridge history. She, and her family’s story, will be the subject of an upcoming eNewsletter article. Stay tuned!
