2024 Spring Brush Pick-Up

Please have your brush on the curb before the week of the scheduled pick-up. NOTE: The Village will not pick-up lawn waste such as grass, leaves and/or garden materials. You must take these materials to the yard waste site. Visit our website for more detailed information. Curbside Brush Pickup - Village of Bellevue (villageofbellevuewi.gov).

MAIN ST. & EAST OF MAIN ST.
Place brush at curb starting 04/08 through 04/21
Pick-Up Week: 04/22-04/26. All brush must be on the curb by Sun. 04/21.

WEST OF MAIN ST.
Place brush at curb starting 04/15 through 04/28
Pick-Up Week: 04/29-05/03. All brush must be on the curb by Sun. 04/28

Open House - Huron Road Corridor Plan

Open House: Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. Join us to review the preliminary plan for the long-range development along Huron Road. Your feedback and input are valuable to this process. Have a voice in how Bellevue looks, feels, and grows in this community area. 

The plan is a comprehensive urban development initiative to transform the Huron Road corridor into a vibrant and sustainable mixed-use district. View the massing concept and provide input on uses, including Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, and Greenspace+Trails.


This project seeks to enhance connectivity, promote economic growth, improve transportation options, and create a cohesive community identity along the corridor. The plan aims to develop the corridor while fostering a sense of place, innovation, and inclusivity.

Below is a brief snapshot of the upcoming Village
Board meeting scheduled for 
April 24, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.

Presentations

  1. 2024 Citizen’s Academy Graduation.
    The Village Board will be recognizing the community members graduating from 2024’s, seven-week Citizen’s Academy. 

New Business

  1. Annual Committee, Commission & Board Appointments.
    Bellevue residents contribute a major part of our Village review process. This item pertains to the annual Committee, Commission and Board appointments recommended for approval by the Village President.

  2. CSM 2024-0004 - Consider/Discuss/Act on the request by Troy Hewitt, Robert E. Lee & Associates, Inc., Applicant, on behalf of William and Barbara Schleis, Owners, for approval of a two-lot Certified Survey Map, located at 2752 Manitowoc Road (Parcel B-59-3-1).
    This item pertains to the splitting of one parcel located at 2752 Manitowoc Road into two separate parcels. This item is recommended for Board review by the Plan Commission.

  3. Municipal Leaf Collection Program Alternatives.
    The Village Board has requested this New Business item thereby allowing a formal discussion on whether or not the Village should provide bulk leaf removal services. Presently the Village offers a compost site for resident use and seasonal tree and branch removal services via curbside.
