University Updates
Repairs underway at RAWC entrance
Beginning this week, the RAWC entrance forecourt (across from parking lot P8) will be closed until early June for concrete repair.
Both the double door entrances into the RAWC building will remain open, but bicycle racks in front of the RAWC will be removed during construction.
There will be very limited use of the lay-by area during construction. For questions, contact Edwin D’Cruz, edwin.dcruz@utoronto.ca or 437-332-9409. Learn more
Demolition making room for new residence
Demolition work has begun on Schreiberwood Residence Townhouses (units 43-53) and Parking Lot P6 to prepare for construction of the New Student Residence. Expect high-medium noise and vibration levels during the demolition phase, which is expected to last approximately two weeks. The pedestrian pathway connecting Erindale Hall to Residence Road will remain closed until construction is complete. Residence Road will remain open, however there will be increased traffic due to construction vehicles accessing the site. For questions, contact Bernard Hau at 905-301-8184 or bernard.hau@utoronto.ca.
Alumna doc nominated for Peabody Award
Filmmaker and UTM alumna Nisha Pahuja's documentary To Kill a Tiger has been nominated for a Peabody Award.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2022, winning Best Canadian Film. The documentary was also nominated for an Oscar earlier this year.
