Spring Concert - This Tuesday!
|
|
Tuesday, April 30th, the North Paulding Band Program will present its final concert of the year! As noted in the syllabus, each ensemble is a performance based class that utilizes public performances as part of the learning process.
All rehearsals and performances are equated into the nine-week grade for each semester. We are super excited with the progress that the students have made this year and look forward to celebrating with a great night of music.
The show starts at 7:00 pm. Call times are as follows:
- Concert Band (1st and 2nd block): 6:00pm
- Symphonic Band (4th block): 6:30pm
- Wind Symphony (3rd block): 6:50pm

Students are required to stay through to the end of the concert. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the concert and at the end. Being tardy for the first attendance will reduce your grade. Not being present for the student’s portion of the concert or attendance at the end of the concert will result in a 0 for the concert. Not being present for the final attendance will reduce your grade.

Registration Help Session
Tuesday, April 30th, 6-7pm in cafeteria
Do you have questions about BoosterHub or are you having trouble getting your band student registered? Members of the Booster Board will be available to assist you in the cafeteria on Tuesday, from 6-7pm, prior to the Spring Concert. Laptops will be available for you to register your student and the Treasurer will be available to set up your student's account if you fall into one of the "special categories" mentioned on the registration form. Come see us! Registration closes this Saturday!!

Band Banquet is This Saturday!
|

We are looking forward to seeing our band family and celebrating our students on Saturday at our end of year band banquet!
Please remember that we are NOT at the high school this year for banquet - we are at a new location, thanks to one of our generous sponsors, Yanmar.
Banquet Details
Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: Doors open at 5:00pm, dinner service begins at 5:30pm
Place: Yanmar EVO Center - 5889 Old Alabama Road, Acworth, GA 30102
After dinner service we'll move to the auditorium to give out awards and watch the end of year DVD (available for purchase later!). See you there!

2024-2025 Marching Band Registration ends THIS SATURDAY, May 4th
As mentioned at Kick Off, we are using a new system called BoosterHub for registration and for managing all things Band moving forward. We launched it with the 2024-2025 Marching Season registration so that we can go into next season organized! Some parts of the app are still under construction and the switch over may have a few challenges but once we get everyone in and all the content moved over, it will be smooth sailing and we know you'll love it!
Q. How Do I Register For Marching Band?
A. Registration this year must be completed by a parent/guardian. If you fall into one of these categories listed below, first email the treasurer to let him know at booster_treasurer@northpauldingband.com. He will instruct you on how to register (do not use the link below).
- You want to use current or future student credits to pay for your dues.
- You have more than one band student and want the sibling discount.
- You want to join but can’t pay right now.
If you don’t fall into one of those categories, you may register and pay the deposit by May 4th using the link below.
Q. How Do I Get Access to The Band’s BoosterHub in The App?
A. Once the parent/guardian has completed registration, the treasurer will approve your membership and each person listed on the registration form will receive an email with a link to join the Band’s BoosterHub. Please be sure to check spam, as sometimes it will go there. Once you’ve joined and created your login, you can download the BoosterHub app and login to see the Band’s information (Calendar, Store, Volunteer Opportunities, News and more).

Ameris & Lakewood Concert Series Fundraiser is OPEN!
We're gearing up for an unforgettable season at Ameris and Lakewood Amphitheaters and we need your help to make it legendary! We run a busy concessions stand within each amphitheater and earn a percentage of the proceeds directly to our booster program. By lending your time and energy, you'll play a vital role in supporting the band program. Plus, you'll earn booster credits that can be used towards your band fees, extra costs, trips, and more!
We have tons of shows to choose from starting in May. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to the scene, we welcome your enthusiasm and commitment. Sign up now to secure your spot and be part of something fun and exciting!

P.S. Mark your calendars now for the required Alcohol Training which will take place at the Booster Meeting on May 14, 2024 in the Band Room. This training is good for 3 years, so if you have taken it within that timeframe, you do not need to take it again.

Sheets Fundraiser - Always open for online sales!
Did you know that our sheets fundraiser runs all year long? It's true!
Anyone can order sheets online here: www.outoftownorders.com and they will ship directly to them. (This link can also be found on the Fundraiser page of the Band Website, if you ever need it later.)
IMPORTANT!! Be sure anyone purchasing onine enters your band student’s code so they get credit for your sale. At checkout, you will enter “NPHS/” followed by their last name. Example: Frosty Snowman would be NPHS/Snowman. (If you have a common last name, you might want to include first name also.)
This is a 50/50 fundraiser which means we give you 50% of the profit back as a student credit that can be used toward most band expenses. Credits are applied to your account when the monthly check from the vendor is received.

With the RaiseRight app, you can purchase e-gift cards while at the register and then use it within seconds to pay for your purchase! Want to send a plastic gift card to someone? You can do that too! This fundraiser is open all year long!
For each gift card purchased, RaiseRight donates a percentage back to the Band. We then split that amount 50/50 between your student account and the General Fund. Watch for bonus earning opportunities too! It all adds up!

Anyone can raise funds for the Band and your student too! Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents...the more the merrier!

Do you shop at Kroger? Are you registered for Kroger Community Rewards? You should be!
Kroger Community Rewards is a one-and-done, super simple way to support the Band. Once you have registered and selected the North Paulding Band Boosters, Inc as your organization, every purchase you make using your Kroger card is added up and a portion is donated to the band on a quarterly basis. Set it and forget it! How easy is that?

If you are using the Kroger app, click the hamburger menu (3 lines) at top right. Then click Rewards, then Community Rewards. You can complete the enrollment on the resulting page.
If you are using the Kroger website on your computer, sign in, then click your name in the top right of the screen to expand the menu. Select "My Account". Scroll down until you see the Community Rewards section and click there to be taken to the enrollment screen.
This is another one that anyone can do to help the Band! Friends and family welcome!
