Another 6 Day class ends

Congratulations to the latest student that came and built a guitar with me in my one on one six day guitar building class last week. She came all the way from California to build a concert quality classical guitar with me. Since she has small hands, she specifically requested we build a 630mm scale length. She also had no woodworking experience whatsoever before coming to the class! As you can tell from the pics below, she did a wonderful job on her guitar. So, if you are worried about having little or no woodworking experience, you have no excuse to not come and build a guitar with me. If you can follow instructions, you can build a guitar. This was guitar number eight for the year.

I can't count how many times people have called or emailed me saying they want to come and build a guitar with me and then ask what my schedule is like next month. They are always disappointed when I tell them that my scheduled is booked a year in advance. I have one spot available in 2024 and this is due to a rare cancellation. December 16 - 21 are the dates. I have also just announced more dates for 2025 on the Lutherie Academy website and they are filling fast.
