Traffic Pattern Change

Tk̓emlúps Public Works have completed a permanent traffic change at the Kootenay Road - George Campbell Way intersection, adjacent to the railway tracks. They converted the existing 4-way stop into a 3-way stop by relocating the stop sign from the west leg of the intersection to the west side of the CN rail tracks. This safety enhancement was made to prevent longer vehicles and buses from having to stop across the railway tracks or get stuck between the stop and the railway crossing.

Reminder: Post-secondary Applications are due by April 30, 2024. If you are a new applicant, all supporting documents noted on the application package are also due by April 30, 2024. This event is more than just a gathering—it's a moment to stand in solidarity, to remember those who have been taken from us too soon, and to demand justice and change.
