Caring for Each Other
There are many social and pastoral networks within St Nick's, so please do continue to care for each other in your normal way, having particular regard for the vulnerable and housebound. If you are concerned about anyone in the congregation then please e-mail the pastoral team or the clergy.
In other news

We have had the benefit of Fr Steven's ministry with us for two years and he will now formally be licensed as Self-Supporting Assistant Priest at the Parish Church. We shall be joined by the Archdeacon of Liverpool on Sunday 5 May to do the actual licensing.
Sculpture Talk
Since July the sculpture on the Plinth has been "Boy with Knife Carnation." Brigitte Jurack is going to come and talk about her sculpture after the Parish Eucharist at 11.30am on Sunday 12 May. We shall be joined by members of the congregation of the German Church. All are welcome. There is more information about Brigitte here.
Fr Crispin's Final Sunday
Fr Crispin's final service will be the Parish Eucharist at 10am on Sunday 23 June. All are welcome, and please do let others know if you think they might be interested in attending.
Annual Parochial Church Meeting
This year's APCM will take place during the Parish Eucharist on Sunday 28 April. You can download the Reports Pack (including the annual accounts) from the Downloads page of the website or access it here. (There may be some updates to the Reports Pack during the week, but the link will stay the same.)
New High Sheriff
Congratulations to John Mohin OBE DL from our congregation. On Friday John was installed as High Sheriff of Merseyside. Please keep him in your prayers as he embarks on a busy year.
New Exhibition
Look out next week for the start of a small exhibition in church about John Newton. Newton was a former slave captain who later became an abolitionist, but is perhaps best known today as the author of the hymn Amazing Grace. Newton knew St Nick's well and came to preach at churches in the parish following his ordination.
