Former Minor League - Manager

Buck Rogers to Serve as Special Assistant
With the Legacy League

Veteran GM Buck Rogers will accompany the Legacy League as it enters its inaugural season in the summer of 2025.

Rogers served as the GM of the Huntsville Stars before the team moved to Biloxi to play at MGM Park in 2015, where the Biloxi Shuckers also experienced outstanding success in their inaugural season.  Prior to that, Buck was named the 2003 Florida State League Executive of the Year for his work with the Daytona Cubs.  He also supervised the Daytona and Brevard County staffs, which garnered four consecutive nominations for the Florida State League’s prestigious Larry MacPhail Award (top promotional staff in Minor League Baseball) from 2002-05.

“It’s exciting to be on board with Tim again! He has a list of visions and accomplishments in the sports world that speak for themselves. It’s great to be a part of the Legacy League with the world-class team he has recruited for this project!

– Buck Rogers.

Originally from Neenah, WI, Rogers served 14 years in the US Army Infantry, most of which was with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, NC. He participated in the invasion of Panama (Operation Just Cause) in December 1989, a mission that captured Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega.

Rogers is married with two adult daughters. His wife, Babs, is originally from Gulfport, MS.

“This is another great addition to the Legacy League and will help bring fun, excitement, and knowledge to our front office staff and our game day experience. I’ve had the pleasure of working shoulder to shoulder with Buck, and his energy, knowledge, and ability to make this game fun for the fans and exciting in the community will help us offer the same enthusiasm he brought to Biloxi.”

– Tim Bennett – Commissioner, Legacy League
