Ahoy!
We are excited to kick off the summer season with the introduction of several new initiatives.
First, our pilot training program for low-cost deep-sea exploration has been launched, targeting participants in the Pacific region. Applications are open until May 27, and we encourage potential applicants to reach out with any questions about the program.
Second, we are looking for an ocean engineering firm to assist us in designing our next generation of low-cost deep ocean sensors and systems. We will host a virtual information session on Monday, May 20, for the request for proposals, which are due by June 17.
Join us next week at the DOOS Deep Ocean Observing System (DOOS) annual meeting, where you can learn more about other exciting projects we will be rolling out this year!
