Gardner Appreciates Their Teachers!
|
|
Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week, and the Gardner community showed up for it with outpourings of food, beverages, flowers, and most of all love for the staff. From hot drinks waiting on Monday, to the beautiful bouquets built by the students on Wednesday, to the Farmhouse kitchen kept stocked to overflowing all week with snacks and treats, our staff felt most appreciated!
In addition to the hard work put in by our parent group to pamper (and feed) our teachers, highlights included the gorgeous flower arrangements personalized with a 3d printed name tag for each staff member, courtesy of Susan Melton, and a beautiful full afternoon tea service personally catered by Dyonne Strilaeff. Thank you to all our families, staff, friends, and volunteers for creating such a caring community here at Gardner!

Yearbooks Now On Sale!
2024 Gardner Yearbooks
Once again, the Gardner staff has put together a lovely yearbook with photos and memories from the school year! Each classroom has a page with class and individual photos, and a number of our important annual events are highlighted on their own pages. There's a "guess that baby picture" section towards the back, and each page contains memories of the school year that parents and students will treasure for years to come.
Books are $35 each, and can be ordered through our online form. We will be distributing books by homerooms directly to teachers in June, so students will be able to get their books signed by peers at the end of the school year.
We only have limited quantities available, so get yours soon before they are gone!

Summer Camp Spotlight
Do You Know the Vertebrates?
July 29th - Aug 2nd
Designed and run by our talented Art Specialist Millie, this camp is a crafty, artsy, nature-loving dive into local vertebrate zoology!
Through arts, crafts, songs, and exploration, each day will bring new lessons on each of the five classes of vertebrates. Expect campers to come home with stories, crafts, and basic identification skills about fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. We will explore our on-campus wetlands to see how many vertebrate species we can find!
If you are interested in signing up your child for summer camps this year, visit our Summer Camp webpage soon!
