Meter Reader
The Meter Reader is responsible for reading and recording all meters on the meter route once per month and returning the meter sheet to the City Administrator.
This task can take 1-2 days and involves lots of walking, kneeling, bending, and crouching. The job can be dirty and the Meter Reader does occasionally come in contact with spiders, lizard, frogs, snakes, and dogs.
** The candidate must be physically able to access the meter boxes and walk long distances.**
The Village's current adopted budget includes compensation at the rate of $160 per month. Compensation is subject to Board of Aldermen discussion, action, and amendment.
Zoning Administrator
The Zoning Administrator is responsible for implementing and enforcing the Village Zoning Ordinance by providing information about zoning procedures and requirements, working with homeowners and builders, coordinating with inspection services, providing information to the zoning committee regarding variance requests, and sharing with the Board any problems in the zoning ordinance or issues with compliance.
The Zoning Administrator must also report to the Board at its monthly meetings, detailing any activities in the Village of San Leanna that are related to the Zoning Ordinance.
The Village's current adopted budget includes compensation at the rate of $1000 per month for approximately 40 hours of work at $25 per hour. Compensation is subject to Board of Aldermen discussion, action, and amendment.
