Updated Ascend to Wholeness SPD—Organ/Tissue Transplant

Within the Benefits Description—Medical section in the 2024 Summary Plan Document (SPD) we have updated the language under Organ/Tissue Transplant. It has been updated to include services that will be limited to in-network providers at the PPO network’s “Institutes of Excellence” (IOE), effective May 1, 2024. The updated SPD is available on the Plan Documents—Ascend to Wholeness page.

Quarter 2—May 15

We will have our 2^nd Quarter Healthcare Conversations on May 15. We will have two sessions, one from 2:00–3:00 p.m. EST and the other from 3:15–4:15 p.m. EST. The May 15 meetings have similar content so you can choose which time you would like to attend. Meeting invites were sent last year in November. If you have had a change in staff or want to add someone to the meeting, please forward the meeting invite.

Agendas will be sent a week prior to the meeting. Sneak peek: we will go over the changes and what’s coming in 2025!

Please note that 3^rd Quarter Healthcare Conversations were rescheduled to August 28, 2024. The meeting times are still the same, 2:00–3:00 p.m. EST and 3:15–4:15 p.m. EST.

Fast Track to Level 1!

We heard you! We know how different one lifestyle and wellness journey can be from one person to the next. With this in mind, we have created a new “Fast Track” to level 1 (10,000 points) for members to be eligible for the Accelerate option.

Starting on the 2026 Wellness Campaign, August 1, 2024, members will have new ways to get to level 1 that focus more specifically on their needs. Here is a chart of the Fast Track options and how members can reach level 1.

We will be reviewing the Fast Track options during the 2nd Quarter Healthcare Conversations.

Question: Do telehealth services through Amwell still have a $0 copay?

Answer: Short answer: YES!

Due to the recent cybersecurity breach at Change Healthcare (major healthcare industry vendor for electronic claims processing and eligibility verification), the electronic plan verification that allows the $0 copay is temporarily offline for telehealth services through Amwell.

The claim submission processes should be re-established by late May, and we will update you if there are any changes to this expected timeline.

You can continue to use Amwell and send any invoices/bills to WebTPA for full reimbursement via the WebTPA Member Portal on the Ascend to Wholeness website.
