It's Election Day!

I hope you've already made your plan to vote, but if you haven't yet, here are some tips to make your vote count:

Not registered to vote or need to update your address? You can register same-day at your new polling location. Make sure you bring an approved form of identification and proof of address.

Absentee ballots must be received, not postmarked, by 8pm on May 21. If you're still holding onto your absentee ballot, it's too late to mail it!

Hand-deliver your absentee ballot to a safe and secure 24-hour ballot drop box at Boise City Hall or Ada County Elections.

You may also take your absentee ballot to your regular polling place to be "spoiled," or if you can't find your absentee, you will just need to sign an affidavit and then vote like normal.

If you've already returned your absentee, check to make sure your absentee ballot was received.

DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CAUCUS INFORMATION

In addition to today's primary, the Idaho Democratic Presidential Caucus will be held this Thursday, May 23! During the caucus you will vote for your preference in the Presidential race. This will not be held like a traditional caucus, this year you will be allowed to show up at your caucus location any time between 5pm and 8pm, you will check in with a caucus volunteer who will give you your ballot. Once you fill out your ballot you will be able to head home!
