Study: Sodium intake associated with severe eczema |

Supported by VoLo Foundation, her team will analyze epigenetic changes from 2020-2021 wildfires, aiming to predict future disease risks and understand health impacts. |

The research, highlighting significant health risks, underscores the need for enhanced PFAS monitoring and remediation. |

Advanced LEAP Scholars participate in a two-year Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health curriculum including coursework, a summer internship, and a research fellowship, preparing them to be leaders in the field. |

| Blue Shield fellowship helps Rezahn Abraha pursue career in public health and environmental science
When alum Rezahn Abraha emigrated from Japan to California at age seven, she became aware of racial inequities and environmental injustices. Abraha pursued an environmental sciences degree and, aided by a Blue Shield of California Health Equity Fellowship, completed graduate studies in public health. Abraha now focuses on public health outreach and research to improve health outcomes for marginalized communities. |
