Well, summer is upon us. The 2024 season will be “hotter” than last year regarding the Mon Valley Cultural events. Starting in June, the Peter Daley Cultural Center will continue to be a hub of activity with lessons, seminars, and rehearsal times. The TC Jr. Band will kick off the season with rehearsal and a first-time appearance at the Charleroi Fourth of July celebration on June 29, the RFD will be drumming throughout the Mon Valley, Sam Bill Legacy Band will appear at the Riverside Restaurant on June 9, and the MVAA will feature the Marx Bros. Band on June 22 at the Cast Iron Amphitheater. As the busy schedule increases, the MVAA BOD thanks the sponsors, donors, and families who support the arts. Check the www.monvalleyacademyforthearts.org website and Facebook for schedule updates. Let’s have a great summer!
