As we gather to celebrate Juneteenth, we honor the enduring strength, resilience, and contributions of African Americans in our nation. This historic day commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and reminds us of the ongoing journey toward equality and justice.
At the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc., we are committed to fostering a community that values diversity, promotes inclusivity, and stands united against all forms of discrimination. Today, we reflect on our past, acknowledge the challenges that remain, and renew our dedication to building a brighter, more equitable future for all.
Let us celebrate Juneteenth with a spirit of unity and a resolve to continue the work of those who fought for freedom and equality.
