TRANSFER OF LEADERSHIP AT THE HOUSE OF PRAYER CHURCH
On July 14, the senior pastor of The House of Prayer Church, Aleksey Delkhman, entrusted the church leadership to Alexander Ivanov. In doing so, he set a good example for other church leaders. Over the past 15 years, he has been preparing Alexander for this ministry and was a mentor to him. Pastor Aleksey insisted that now is the right time to entrust the ministry to Pastor Ivanov. 30-YEAR ANNIVERSARY AT SLAVIC BAPTIST CHURCH
On June 23, the Slavic Baptist Church of West Sacramento celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. During the solemn service, a special time was set aside to remember the path the church had taken, to show a slide show, and to thank God for the blessings He had given the church along the way. The Vice President of the Association, A. Pronin, presented the church with a commemorative certificate in honor of this anniversary. The recording of the service can be viewed here. BRYTE CHURCH’S MINISTRY TEAM GROWS BY THIRTEEN DEACONS
On June 30, Bryte Church had a special ordination church service for thirteen new deacons. These men who have been already seasoned in ministry, along with their wives were presented before the church to officially be recognized for their role as “servants” of the church (meaning of deacon in Greek). BAPTISM AT ROCKLAND BAPTIST CHURCH
On June 8, Rockland Baptist Church had a special baptism service at the American River. Nine youth members were testifying before the church, their relatives and friends by saying: “I believe”, and committed their lives to following God. More details…

“DREAM” CAMP
The first children camp "Dream" was organized by Bryte Church for children of immigrants who have lived in the United States for no more than two years, and was held from June 2 to 8 in Grass Valley, California. Most of the children in the camp were from non-Christian families. The camp was attended by 75 children. More details…

On Saturday, June 1, The Spring of Life Church in Anderson organized a garage sale and a car wash, accompanied by various activities for children, as well as some treats. Almost the entire church was involved in this event. All proceeds from the fundraiser were given to the church. More details…

BIBLE COMPETITION
On April 29, The Spring of Life Church in Mukilteo, WA, organized Bible Competition for children ages 7 to 12. There were six competing teams, with over 72 people in attendance. The team of 11 year-olds were the winners. More details…

MOBILE BIBLE EXHIBIT
Known as the «Bible Truck», this mobile exhibit is dedicated to the world’s bestseller – the Bible. Year after year, this exhibit is serving in many cities around the U.S. Pastor Aleksey Kharlamov of Spring Church, Moraga, CA had an idea of bringing this Bible exhibit to the Bay Area to evangelize there. BEING A GOOD FATHER
This year, Choose Life Slavic Church in Oceanside had a special Father’s Day celebration. On June 16, the women prepared amazing food to celebrate all men. On Saturday, June 15, New Hope Church had an evangelistic event near Mather. The church distributed over 1,800 information packages! CHILDREN’S CAMP AT THE REVIVAL BIBLE CHURCH
On July 14-18, Revival Church had a children camp for over a hundred children. The theme of the camp had a detective aspect, “Case for Christ”. Following the example of Sherlock Holmes, children conducted a study of the traces of Jesus Christ left by Him in history. By the end of camp, 16 children openly confessed their desire to be committed to Christ, and many others expressed similar desires to their small group leaders. More details…

«We began to read the book of Acts and had our introductory church sermon about the book not inside the church building, but at Muir Beach by the ocean", said pastor of Spring Church, Aleksey Kharlamov. Few people know what an important role volunteers play in the ministry of our Pacific Thrift Store, which has supported the missionary ministry of the Association for more than a decade. ANOTHER ISSUE OF “GOD’S VINEYARD” MAGAZINE
The second issue of “God’s Vineyard” magazine has been published and distributed to its subscribers. The magazine has articles by pastors A. Ivanov (House of the Gospel, Fresno, CA), M. Cherenkov (Revival Church, Vancouver, WA), A. Pats, I. Mileyev, and many others. Under the “Life of the Association”, there is information about women’s conferences at the Second Slavic Church, and Seattle Church. It also talks about the first anniversary of The Spring of Life Bible Church in Greenville, South Carolina. VBS FOR THE REFUGEE CHILDREN IN SPAIN
Under the direction of pastor Andrey Kobzar, a team from Grace Family Church, consisting of over 20 teenagers and adults spent two weeks in Torrevieja, Spain. They served in training the locals and helped in organizing the Vacation Bible School for children of Slavic refugees. This was a time of forming new relationships, training, mutual help, and growing together spiritually. More details…

MINISTERING AMONG THE GYPSIES
In offering the gift of salvation, God doesn’t make an exception! This is also true for gypsies. These people have dialects and a lifestyle that aren’t shared by many people. In preparation for children camp among the gypsies of Uzbekistan, V. Khripunov, who is the mission department’s head assistant, invited Michael Kunyo from Lviv to share his experience in working with gypsies. He has been serving in that capacity for many years. NEW REGION IN THE MOLDOVAN UNION OF EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN BAPTIST CHURCHES
The committee of the Union of ECB made a decision to classify a new region naming it “The Diaspora”, which will be included into the Union of ECB Churches of Moldova. The goals of creating this Region are:
- To preach the Gospel among the citizens of the country who are living outside of Moldova.
- Instruction, edification, and encouragement of the members of ECB churches who are living abroad.
The first congress of the Moldavian diaspora took place on June 13. For more information about it and the resulting decisions can be seen on the Union’s website.
