Dear PTA/PTSA Leader,

The screenshots of the Election Buddy report were inadvertently left off of the email announcing the results of the SCPTSA election.

We look forward to sending out a fuller communication shortly, but also wanted to take a moment to encourage you to sign up for the WSPTA August Leadership Launch and highlight two important events this week—one tonight, and one on Friday. Please see details below.

REGISTER FOR WASHINGTON STATE PTA’S AUGUST LEADERSHIP LAUNCH

This year’s WSPTA virtual conference will focus on providing new leaders the training they need to launch a great school year for their PTA!

A mix of trainings and roundtables for leaders to connect will be offered. The trainings (except for PTA and the Law) will be recorded and available to view for weeks after the event. This year’s trainings will be geared towards leaders who are new to PTA or their position.

Join Roosevelt Alumni for Racial Equity (RARE) for an Open Discussion event to learn about the local movement and need for closing the literacy gap for young students in Seattle Public Schools.

Roy Chang from School Connect WA, Donald Felder from Seattle Public Schools, and Maria Graham from Reading Equity Project will discuss closing the literacy gap.

We hope you’ll join us tonight!
