January Prayer Letter 2012

Dear Praying Friends,

                We thank the Lord for His blessings  in 2011.  The Lord allowed us to see 1002 souls saved at the Independent Baptist Church of Guadalajara, Mexico, with 150 baptized. The Lord gave us 13,775 souls saved through our soul winning ministries.

                During our end of the year 4 week program, we saw 358 souls saved and 55 baptized with an average Sunday morning attendance of 433.  I divided our adult  class into 3 teams. They really worked hard at bringing visitors.  After the program we took each adult out for a meal who brought 5 or more adults. What a special time we had.

                We want to thank all those who prayed and helped make the Annabel de Vallejo Home Christmas a nice one. We were able to give them a nice meal. We had made or bought them a new outfit.  The children and workers of the Annabel de Vallejo Home averaged 231 visitors in church during our end of the year program. What a blessing it is to see them bring  visitors to church.

                We want to ask you to continue to pray that we will be able to adopt Becky who has been with us since she was 2 weeks old. She will be 6 years old on April 30^th. Her adoption will be in the courts in the near future. It will take a real miracle for the Mexican government to allow us to adopt her. But God is still in the miracle working business.

               We are starting Phase 2 of the Memorial Children's Home  - the first floor walls. We have over 51% of the needed funds for this phase. We have a group coming down from Canada to lay the block. Please pray that the funds will come in to finish the second phase.

      We are so blessed to have friends like you. We truly desire your prayers for us and the ministry here. We realize that we could not see the blessings we see without your prayers and participation. Thank you so much.
