Outside the Lines

On Display June 26 - August 29

The “Outside the Lines” Group Show is a vibrant exhibition on display from June 26 through August 29 and will feature the works of emerging artists from across Michigan, offering a diverse and eclectic range of subjects and mediums.

We had a wonderful time hosting the artists’ reception for our group show, Outside the Lines. This event offered the chance for onlookers to meet the artists behind the exhibit and gain insight into their creative process.

Andy Warhol:

The Bridge Between Art and Pop Culture

Andy Warhol is an American artist born, on August 6, 1928.   “More than any other artist of his generation, Andy Warhol understood how photographic images reflect and shape the way we see the world. Working across multiple mediums—painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, film, video, and installation—he pushed beyond the boundaries by which each is defined, his art and name becoming synonymous with Pop. But his influence extended far beyond the 1960s: indeed, Warhol’s work foreshadows the ease and ubiquity with which we create and consume images in the digital era.”
