News and Announcements

  • From the President: Major Reynolda Campus revitalization effort begins: Three years of careful planning and research have positioned Wake Forest to launch the most significant renewal of the Reynolda Campus core academic spaces and student facilities since the University moved to Winston-Salem in 1956. Find out more about these transformational initiatives.

  • First Week Greetings from Dr. Shea: We hope you’ve enjoyed all of the various events this first week of classes. In her message to our newest and returning Deacs, Vice President of Campus Life Dr. Shea Kidd Brown looks toward the excitement of the new school year, our collective responsibility as a community, and how each of us can Show Humanitate. See the full message here.

  • The Campus Life Advisory Council (CLAC) serves as an advisory board for Vice President for Campus Life Dr. Shea Kidd Brown and provides invaluable input and suggestions for improvements to campus life. This advisory council was created to provide students access to senior campus leadership that they may not already have through campus leadership positions, on-campus jobs, or other advisory boards. Undergraduate and graduate students selected to CLAC will serve for the 2024-25 academic year, beginning in September. Meetings will take place monthly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Applications are due September 3.

  • The Program for Leadership and Character discussion groups: “What Is College For?” — We’ll think about the nature of the good life and how we can live such lives in college and beyond. All undergraduates are welcome as we consider topics such as friendship, failure, and gratitude. Sign up by September 4.
