Literary Crawl Highlight

In June of 2023, Las Vegas poets Harry R. Fagel and Rodney J. Lee curated an exhibition at the Nevada Humanities Program Gallery in Las Vegas titled Affinity for Masculinity, featuring original poems by six Nevada poets. Fagel and Lee’s exhibit explored the different truths, performances, and perspectives of masculinity through the lens of poetry, and especially highlighting the emotional toll of toxic masculinity. The 2024 Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl will bring Fagel and Lee together with Reno author Christopher Coake to discuss and share themes of masculinity in their works of poetry and prose.

The Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl returns on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at venues throughout the California Avenue corridor in downtown Reno. The full schedule of events will be released on the Nevada Humanities website in September.
