Dr Neill Hepburn served in the Royal Army Medical Corps and trained in dermatology at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh becoming a consultant in 1994. He has been a consultant dermatologist in Lincoln since 1997, initially single handed but now one of six consultants working in an integrated service.

He has enjoyed a varied professional career seeing military service in the First Gulf war, in Angola and also in Nepal.  He gained an MD for his work on Cutaneous Leishmaniasis.

In Lincolnshire he led the creation of the hub and spoke service to cover the County.  In addition he spent a decade in medical management as the deputy and then the Trust Medical Director.

Neill enjoys the varied technical challenges clinical work presents but most of all he enjoys listening to patients’ stories.

We look forward to Neill’s presentation on dermatological conditions that will be very useful for pharmacy first and minor ailment consultations for pharmacists
