How Blatchford’s soil cells support healthy trees and stormwater treatment

Carton-like soil cells being installed in Blatchford.

When it comes to sustainable community design, soil cells installed beneath Blatchford’s trees serve two important functions:

  1. They help trees grow and stay healthy in an urban environment by retaining rainwater.

  2. They filter rainwater, helping to clean it before it enters the stormwater system.
