The latest ECB Learning Workshop is coming to Berkshire this Autumn. Scoring runs with Ali Maiden - "a learning workshop for coaches exploring batting and coaching batting". The course will take place on Sunday 3rd November 10am-3pm at Little Heath School - Reading.

FREE CRICKET ENGAGEMENT DAY OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL SCHOOLS

As schools are returning this month, we have an offer for schools across the county to sign up for a free cricket engagement day.

An engagement day is an exciting day of cricket, with one of our talented Berkshire Cricket coaches coming into your school to deliver taster sessions to as many children as possible in a single day.

These sessions are completely free and are often a fantastic way to introduce cricket to children for the very first time, inspiring a love of the game at an early age.

We’re thrilled to be able to offer a Core Coach course in Berkshire in conjunction with Metro Bank and the ECB. The Metro Bank Girls in Cricket Fund ECB Core Coach programme is designed to develop coaches' knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead player-centred sessions for girls. Women in Sport’s insights highlight the need for more tailored coaching education and resources to effectively inspire and develop girls, without reinforcing negative gender stereotypes. This program addresses the gap, helping coaches create a supportive and inclusive environment for girls in cricket.

The Play Cricket Honours Boards are updated every week after the weekends' action of cricket. All scorecards must be submitted to Play-Cricket.com by 7pm on Tuesday for scores to be featured on the upcoming honours board. The basic requirements to be featured on the honours boards are as follows:

- You need to have scored a minimum of 50 runs or have taken a minimum of 3 wickets 
- Standard format fixtures (e.g. excluding all 'pairs' cricket).
- League or Cup matches for 'administered' competitions only.
