MAKE YOUR TICKET RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE (RECOMMENDED)
One of the benefits of the new ticketing system that PTFF uses (Eventive), is the ability to reserve tickets to screenings and Forum events ahead of time. Many attendees have been busy mapping out their 4-day Festival journey, and several events are now sold out.
But don’t worry! There are seats available at many other events. If there are screenings or Forum events that you’re particularly interested in, we encourage you to make ticket reservations ahead of time.
To make ticket reservations for Film screenings and Forum events login to your Eventive account at ptff2024.eventive.org/welcome. Find film screenings and Forum events you’d like to attend and click the “ORDER TICKETS” button.
As of today (Sept 12), all Pass holders (of any type) now have access to the ticket reservation system in Eventive. Ticket reservations for standalone tickets begins Sept 16th.
Need some assistance? Here are 3 ways to get help…
Or, prior to Sept 19, visit the Box Office in-person: 211 Taylor Street, Suite 401A, Port Townsend. HOURS:
- THURS & FRI, 2-6PM
- SAT, 1-5PM

TIPS ON PARKING IN DOWNTOWN PORT TOWNSEND!
Parking anywhere near downtown Port Townsend (where PTFF takes place) is extremely limited—please consider one of these options:
-
Park at Port Townsend Haines Place Park & Ride. Free shuttles run all day Friday and Saturday and half a day on Sunday from the Haines Place Park & Ride (by Safeway) and Festival.
-
Walk. If you live in town, or could have someone drop you off downtown, please consider this option!
-
Ride Your Bike. Park your bike at several possible locations throughout downtown Port Townsend.

GET YOUR COSTUME READY!
It’s time for the Filmmakers Parade! This happens on Friday of the Festival (9/20) at 5:30 PM, along Washington Street at Taylor Street. We’re telling you now, so you have time to prepare. Like last year, we invite you to dress as your favorite movie character for the Filmmakers Parade.
We’ll all dance to the beat of Chaotic Noise Marching Corps (last year they were a hoot!)
Classic cars and trucks will deliver our visiting filmmakers to the red carpet at Taylor Street. It’s a beloved PTFF tradition, and we’re glad to once again partner with Rakers Car Club and organizer Jim Arrabito.

OPENING NIGHT FILM - Fish War
We are thrilled to begin our film-watching festivities with Fish War, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Boldt Decision.
Description: When Washington state made it illegal for tribes to fish for salmon in their accustomed places it was a declaration of war. A 1974 court case affirmed the tribes’ treaty right to fish and established them as managers of the resource.
This screening is sponsored by Well-Organized and Black Lives Matter of Jefferson County.

DAILY DINNER BREAKS & LIVE MUSIC ACTS ON TAYLOR STREET
For the Festival’s Daily Dinner Breaks, Friday through Sunday, PTFF is proud to announce our live music acts. Were you hoping for variety? Well, you’ll certainly get that! Grab a picnic meal (see below), find a seat in the Outdoor Festival Lounge or get up and dance – as the moment moves you.
Friday 5:30PM - Chaotic Noise - Over the top marching band from Seattle! They will play during the Filmmakers Parade and the Daily Dinner Break.
Saturday 5:30PM - AVE - a rapper, singer, writer, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Washington State. Their music is hip hop blended with other genres such as Filipino Harana–or traditional serenade music.
Sunday 5:30PM - Harbor Jazz Ensemble - For more than 15 years, HJE has provided sophisticated jazz bands for cocktails and dining, dancing, romancing and just great listening.

TWO FESTIVAL LOUNGES THIS YEAR! — INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
Whether your Festival-going style is watching one film per day or four, eventually you need to rest. Am I right? This year you have two great options, The Indoor Festival Lounge and the Outdoor Festival Lounge.
OUTDOOR FESTIVAL LOUNGE
Regular PTFF-ers will be familiar with hanging out on Taylor Street, which is closed to cars during Festival time. If the weather cooperates, you’ll want to lounge in a chair, grab a beverage from Bar Car, and in the evening enjoy the Daily Dinner Break live music, prior to the outdoor movie.
Bar Car
Fri-Sat-Sun, 3PM - 9PM.
Bar Car offers craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic concoctions
INDOOR FESTIVAL LOUNGE
Would you like a quieter spot to sit down and review your schedule? Come to the Cotton Building. Grab a cup of coffee, meet a friend, make a friend, and check out the PTFF's 2024 merch!
Located in the Cotton Building, 607 Water Street.
