CLEAN Conference Coming to Portland
Everyone experiences trauma and addiction in one form or another. You're invited to a conference and training will give you the chance to talk about it in a safe space, while gaining awareness and understanding of yourself and others. You’ll leave with practical tools for overcoming the barriers that set you back and ways to help others as well. CLEAN Conference will happen September 27 - October 2 at Sunnyside Adventist Church in Portland, Oregon with featured speakers including Heather Kolb, Benjamin Lundquist, Ben Bennett, Dr. David Sedlacek, and others. Pentecost 2025 is a movement inviting Seventh-day Adventists in North America to collectively hold 3,000 or more proclamation events throughout the year 2025.
But what takes this initiative to a higher level than evangelism programming alone, is the intentional call to prayer for the Holy Spirit to bring a second Pentecost.
North American Division leadership has asked each union and mission within the division to set aside specified months to pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Such a revival comes only in answer to prayer, as referenced by Ellen White, church co-founder in Selected Messages, vol. 1, p. 120

Portland Adventist Academy Substitute Teachers Needed!
PAA is looking for responsible substitute teachers for the coming school year. Subs work with friendly and energetic high school students. Teachers provide all material so all you have to do is be present and follow instructions. No college degree is necessary, but you must be 21 or older. Work would be occasional and only during school hours on weekdays. All candidates must pass a background check (paid for by PAA). Boat Cruise with Canvasback Missions
On September 15, Canvasback Missions invites everyone to enjoy a Willamette River Boat Cruise. It’s a guided tour up river on a 2.5 hour round trip cruise.
