Hello, Happy Lungs community!

I am very happy to be part of The Happy Lungs Project team as our Director of Research.

My role at The Happy Lungs Project is to coordinate our RET research program, which includes grants to four working groups at

  • MD Anderson Cancer Center

  • Massachusetts General Hospital

  • Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

  • UT Southwestern Medical Center

But what I enjoy most is helping lung cancer patients understand the biology of RET-positive lung cancer and what treatment options may be available.

Last summer, we collected questions from RET patients directed to the scientific community.

Today, we’re launching our video Q&As to help you make sense of the science. Check it out!

We look forward to continuing to build our video library to meet the needs of the RET lung cancer community.

What questions do you have about RET lung cancer?

Best regards,

Irene Guijarro Munoz

Director of Research
