EXPERIENCE THE WORLD AT COWRA CIVIC CENTRE

Dear <<First Name>>,

This week we kick off two very different film festivals - the 6th annual Ukrainian Film Festival and Disney’s Villain Film Festival.

Next live on stage some of Cowra’s local strut their stuff with Steel Magnolias - the classic American play performed by Cowra Musical & Dramatic Society, and then the young students of St Raphael’s perform in The Lion King Jr. Tickets for both are selling so book early for the best seats.

Sessions have been confirmed for Jack Absolute Flies Again - the latest stage comedy from the National Theatre in London as part of our Live Performance on Screen program. Plus sessions for Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, See How They Run and Amsterdam.

And we are excited to announce a book launch for mid-November - read on for details.

We hope to see you soon!
Jonathan

THIS WEEK AT THE MOVIES

Get a glimpse into the world of Ukraine, its people and their lives before the most recent conflict. Hopes and dreams, wins and loses, individual and national identify are some of the themes of the three films we are presenting from the overall selection.

50% of every ticket sold will go to the Quilts for Ukrainians project run by Cowra volunteers who have made hundreds of quilts and blankets so far for Ukrainian children, mothers and elderly who have been displaced due to the horrific war in their homeland.

Support this project by seeing one or more of these films.
