It don’t mean a thing if there’s no liberatory and revolutionary swing!

Common Thread Community Chorus of Toronto is a non-audition, folk-roots chorus that promotes social justice and community through the performance of joyful, empowering, culturally diverse music from non-religious world traditions.

We remind choir members that we have a scent-free and cell phone powered off rehearsal space. Members will also refrain from bringing peanut products as snacks. With our focus on shaping music and building community, CT expects members to refrain from using digital devices in rehearsals, sectionals and performances that have health impacts (including Fit Bits, smart watches, and smart phones) given their EMF radiation emissions.

CHOIR NEWS

Join in the trek to fundraising success!
Excitement is building with just a few days left before the Sunday, October 16 th Walk/Bike-a-
thon. It’s terrific that current participants have already raised over $4,100 in donations!
Let’s keep building up donation and participant numbers to speed our journey towards this
season’s $7,500 fundraising goal.
If you haven’t done so already, join in by creating a fundraising page. Then, send a message,
with the link to your fundraising page, to friends. Tell them about the choir you are so excited
about. Remind them that their donation will support our social justice chorus.
Click on this link to create your fundraising page.

If you have difficulty email info@commonthreadchorus.ca for help.
The $4,100+ already donated proves that personal outreach is a great way to gain support.
You may also win one of the 5 raffle prizes to be awarded to participants. Join in the fun as we
walk/bike and then gather for a BYO picnic and sing-a-long led by Susanne and Isabel.
If you haven’t created a fundraising page but have donations collected directly, register at the
event on October 16 th . Helen will accept your funds. A tax receipt will be issued prior to the
income tax filing deadline provided CT has the donor’s name and their home address, a CRA
requirement.
So, like the title says: Join in the trek to fundraising success!
